Ceremonial Cacao from Satipo, Peru
At the heart of this box is our pure cacao paste from Satipo in Eastern Peru.
It comes from an indigenous Asháninka cooperative, is not alkalized, is organic-certified, and sourced through personal direct trade.
The cacao belongs to an original Criollo heirloom variety – genetically distinct, not a hybrid, comparable to legendary varieties like Chuncho. This ancient genetic makeup gives it its particular mildness, depth, and clarity.
Gently processed, poured into a block by us personally and wrapped in gold foil, it develops a soft, round aroma with fine fruity-nutty nuances – ideal for cacao ceremonies and conscious heart spaces.
