What is bee pollen anyway?
Bee pollen is the flower pollen collected by bees in spring and summer. This sticks to the bees' legs and is also used to produce honey, royal jelly and propolis. With the help of a grid placed in front of the beehive, the pollen is collected as the bees land. It simply falls off the bees. This is only done on a few days a year, as no smart beekeeper wants to permanently deprive his bees of their food source. Therefore, bee pollen is a very special natural rarity.
